Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seol Ki Hyon (ranked 1057 p4p, 144 weight class) and Madik MBaku (ranked 1825 p4p, 222 weight class). The key to victory for Seol Ki Hyon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MBaku misses with a takedown attempt - Ki Hyon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

And MBaku tries to counter it with a takedown but Ki Hyon pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MBaku stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ki Hyon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

MBaku shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ki Hyon pinned against the cage. Ki Hyon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Ki Hyon counters with a three punch combo that has MBaku backing up. MBaku nods at Ki Hyon to acknowledge the strikes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Seol Ki Hyon will probably get the nod.
