Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nescau Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leite kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Xuxa - Só para baixinhos. Fox is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 50 Cent Ft. Eminem - Psycho. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite walks into a stiff left hand from Fox.
Leite moves out of range of the body kick.
Fox clobbers Leite with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A left and a right from Fox both land. Nice combination.
Fox closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fox lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leite working for a triangle but Fox defends it easily.
Fox won't allow Leite to sweep him here.
Fox is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leite trying to keep a closed guard but Fox is proving a slippery customer.
Fox trying to stand up but can't free himself from Leite's guard.
Fox tries to free his leg and advance position but Leite is retaining full guard.
Fox stands and steps away. Leite gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Fox lands a nice looking body shot.
Leite is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Leite, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Leite fails with the takedown
and Fox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fox dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Leite takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fox closes the distance and lands a one-two.
No joy there for Fox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fox punishes Leite's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leite has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Leite throws a leg kick but Fox sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Fox lands a jab-cross combination.
Fox scores a takedown into full mount!
Fox stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Leite takes one to the side of the head.
Fox jabs at Leite's body.
Fox with a hook.
Leite takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Fox throws a combination. Leite tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Leite is rocked!
Fox connects with a crisp jab.
Oh Leite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fox connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Leite tumbling to the canvas! Fox pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Leite was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nick Fox!
