Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Garcia (ranked 5319 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniel (ranked 5248 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Daniel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mac Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Daniel!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel swinging wildly here.
Mac Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Daniel counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Garcia shoots for a takedown but Daniel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Garcia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Garcia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Daniel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Garcia looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Garcia looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Garcia!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Daniel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Garcia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Daniel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Garcia.

Daniel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Garcia manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Daniel keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Garcia dives in for a single leg takedown but Daniel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Daniel unleashes a big counter combination but Garcia bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Garcia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniel pinned against the cage. Daniel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Daniel is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Garcia is defending well.

Daniel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Garcia.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Daniel counters with a nice uppercut.
Daniel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garcia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daniel somewhat.

Daniel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garcia sprawls well initially but Daniel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Garcia tries to kick Daniel off in order to stand up. Daniel Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mac Garcia showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Daniel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
