Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jimenez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Balboa tries to roll over but Jimenez keeps him under control.
Jimenez works his way into side control.
Jimenez lands an elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jimenez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Balboa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jimenez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Balboa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jimenez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balboa wants to control but Jimenez postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jimenez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Balboa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jimenez lands a couple of good shots and Balboa has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Jimenez has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Balboa! Can he survive? No! He's out! Jimenez gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
