Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Steele (ranked 313 p4p, 45 weight class) and Jackson Boone (ranked 400 p4p, 58 weight class). Steele comes to the ring accompanied by Manowar - Heart of Steel. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson Boone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Steele tries to bum rush Boone with a series of wild strikes but Boone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boone clobbers Steele with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Boone unleashes a big counter combination but Steele bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Boone throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Steele on the side of the head.

As Boone tries to get set, Steele tries to push him back and clinch up but Boone manages to avoid the attempt.
Steele takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steele working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boone is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Boone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Steele is controlling him.

Steele is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Boone is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Boone has escaped and now he's on top!

Boone might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
