The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cathaway swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cathaway has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jeffries is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Cathaway tests Jeffries 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cathaway does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cathaway fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jeffries manages to avoid it.

Cathaway takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jeffries cracks Cathaway with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jeffries has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cathaway to stand back up!

Cathaway is rocked!
Jeffries throws a pinpoint strike between Cathaway's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Cathaway crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Jeffries scores a great knockout victory!
