And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cain Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Diaz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Diaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Good standup being displayed there by Diaz as he connects with a hook.
Saiz lands a lovely overhand right.
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diaz jabs Saiz right on the nose. Saiz blinks but takes it well.
A decent looking cross lands there for Diaz.
Diaz misses with a lunging right hand
and Saiz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Saiz throws the left hand but Diaz avoids the punch easily.
Saiz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.
Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cain Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Saiz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Saiz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Saiz throws a lazy uppercut
and Diaz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Saiz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Saiz takes one to the side of the head.
Saiz slips under a jab from Diaz.
The fighters circling - Saiz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Saiz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diaz to score with a decent uppercut.
Saiz sizes up Diaz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Diaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saiz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Saiz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Diaz slips under a jab from Saiz.
Diaz throws out a loose jab but Saiz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Saiz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Diaz stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Saiz is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

A telegraphed right hand from Diaz misses the target.
Diaz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Saiz's head.
Saiz scores with a hook to the body. Diaz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Saiz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Diaz misses with an uppercut.
Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz throws a looping overhand right but Saiz ducks down to avoid it.
Saiz is looking to counter punch.
Saiz staggers Diaz with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Diaz looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Saiz is victorious!
