The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haruma drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like Haruma might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Haruma thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Haruma changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Randle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Randle is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Haruma is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Randle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Haruma defends well and Randle ends up having to push Haruma into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randle is bucking up trying to escape but Haruma cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Haruma is continuing to stall.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Randle bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Haruma has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Randle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

LC Haruma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Randle is defended easily by Haruma.
Randle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Randle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Haruma circles away.

Haruma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Randle sprawls well initially but Haruma persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Haruma seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Haruma.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
