PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Quinn (ranked 2966 p4p, 325 weight class) and Jay Layne (ranked 4190 p4p, 424 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jay Layne was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Quinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Layne!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Layne throws the left hand but Quinn avoids the punch easily.

It looks like Billy Quinn has been cut.
Quinn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Quinn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Well Layne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
