The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wayne lands a high kick!
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wayne is looking to clinch.
Wayne doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Wayne moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wayne lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Wayne is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lil Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wayne moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.

Wayne misses with a knee to the head.
Jones pulls guard.

Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wayne!
Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jones is working for a guillotine from mount but Wayne frees his head quite easily.

Jones goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Wayne turns into him and now he's in Jones's guard.

Jones has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wayne is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jones.
Jones is looking for a sweep.

Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Wayne tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jones.
Jones tries to roll over but Wayne keeps him under control.
Jones looking for submissions off his back.
Jones looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Wayne pushes past his half guard into mount!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wayne tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Wayne prevents Jones from getting the reversal.
Jones is trying to reverse the position but instead Wayne has taken his back - oops!
You can see the frustration on Jones's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wayne is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wayne wants to clinch.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Wayne.
Wayne lands a high kick!

Jones tries for a takedown but Wayne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wayne clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wayne gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wayne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wayne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wayne trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wayne's guard.
Jones pushes down on Wayne's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Wayne is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Wayne has left one of his arms exposed and Jones doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Wayne screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
