Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Mcmillan (ranked 24202 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnathon Krislee (ranked 3323 p4p, 383 weight class). The key to victory for Rich Mcmillan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Mcmillan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnathon Krislee!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmillan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Krislee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcmillan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mcmillan is pulling down on Krislee's head to control his posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Krislee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Krislee is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mcmillan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Mcmillan is looking to regain half guard here but Krislee keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Mcmillan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Krislee works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Krislee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcmillan to the ground. Krislee is now in Mcmillan's guard.

Mcmillan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krislee defends well.

Krislee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mcmillan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Johnathon Krislee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Krislee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mcmillan!

Mcmillan sneaks out the side door and pushes Krislee away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rich Mcmillan will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Krislee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mcmillan to the mat! Mcmillan manages to get full guard.

Mcmillan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Krislee off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Krislee moves into the clinch.
Mcmillan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Krislee after a bit of a struggle.
Krislee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Krislee has clasped his hands together around Mcmillan's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Krislee controls the position from side control.

Krislee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krislee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mcmillan is trying to get back to his feet.

Krislee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Krislee just content to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Krislee seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mcmillan is concentrating on defense, preventing Krislee from advancing position.
Krislee drops an elbow to the side of Mcmillan's head.
Mcmillan is trying to get back to full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mcmillan is trying to maintain the position but Krislee is very close to passing his half guard.
Krislee is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Krislee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Krislee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mcmillan wants to control but Krislee postures up.

Krislee stands up and beckons Mcmillan to his feet.
Mcmillan dives in and grabs Krislee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krislee pushes down on Mcmillan's head and hops out.
Mcmillan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Krislee defends well and Mcmillan ends up having to push Krislee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Mcmillan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mcmillan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krislee is working away from the top position though.
Still in half guard, Krislee seems content to control.
Mcmillan is trying to maintain the position but Krislee is very close to passing his half guard.
Mcmillan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Krislee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Johnathon Krislee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Krislee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
