Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Robin Van Roosmalen (ranked 6554 p4p, 504 weight class) and Bastien Giroud (ranked 6043 p4p, 490 weight class). Giroud comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Khaled- Aisha kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Robin Van Roosmalen has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Roosmalen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Van Roosmalen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Van Roosmalen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Giroud.
Van Roosmalen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Giroud ducks under a wild hook from Van Roosmalen.
Van Roosmalen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Van Roosmalen throws a hook to the side of Giroud's head but Giroud sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Giroud digs a good body shot into Van Roosmalen's ribs.
Van Roosmalen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Van Roosmalen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Van Roosmalen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Giroud. That did some damage!

Van Roosmalen staggers Giroud with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Giroud looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Van Roosmalen is victorious!
