Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Norberto Gaines (ranked 23944 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chasson Randle (ranked 7783 p4p, 0 weight class). Chasson Randle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Randle's calf.
Randle shoots in and gets a takedown into Gaines's guard.
Gaines controls Randle momentarily but Randle frees himself.
Gaines escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Randle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randle postures up in Gaines's guard and throws a big left but Gaines blocks it.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Gaines manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Gaines really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gaines has picked Randle up - he's going for a ride! Gaines dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Randle makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Norberto Gaines will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Randle has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gaines uses from the top position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gaines, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
