Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jianabule Ahezhuole (ranked 6156 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arslan Sonmez (ranked 4208 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonmez throws a head kick but Ahezhuole moves out of range.
Sonmez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ahezhuole.
Ahezhuole gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sonmez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sonmez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ahezhuole sprawls well initially but Sonmez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ahezhuole is refusing to be controlled, as Sonmez sits in half guard.
Sonmez scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sonmez in particular looking to stall.
Ahezhuole is looking to control Sonmez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ahezhuole avoid being mounted?

Sonmez decides to return to a standing position.
Sonmez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ahezhuole!
Ahezhuole explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Sonmez throws the kick towards the body but Ahezhuole avoids it.
Ahezhuole throws a big counter combination but Sonmez scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Sonmez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ahezhuole is trying to defend but Sonmez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ahezhuole wants to improve his position but Sonmez is controlling well.

Sonmez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ahezhuole keeps working.
Sonmez wants to pass to mount but Ahezhuole is defending the position.
Sonmez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ahezhuole is just riding it out for now. Sonmez eventually gives up the hold.
Sonmez goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Ahezhuole does a handstand and catches Sonmez in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Ahezhuole on top - Sonmez is already out from the submission! Ahezhuole gives Sonmez's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!
