Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Sosa (ranked 7743 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hendrikas Kamaras (ranked 5104 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hendrikas Kamaras was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnson Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hendrikas Kamaras!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamaras fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sosa went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sosa has a takedown stuffed.
Sosa is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kamaras.
Kamaras catches Sosa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kamaras fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sosa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kamaras.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kamaras lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hendrikas Kamaras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Johnson Sosa has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A left and a right from Kamaras both land. Nice combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kamaras scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sosa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sosa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kamaras shoots in for a takedown but Sosa shows good takedown defense.
Sosa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Johnson Sosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hendrikas Kamaras.

Kamaras has Sosa up against the cage in a clinch.

Kamaras manages to break the clinch.
Kamaras goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kamaras bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sosa fails with a takedown attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Sosa 's head but he takes it in his stride.


Sosa is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kamaras drops Sosa with a huge uppercut! Sosa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Kamaras is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hendrikas Kamaras!
In his post fight interview, Hendrikas Kamaras started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
