Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Sigurdson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Youshi Nakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigurdson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nakuraba circles away.
Nakuraba stalks Sigurdson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sigurdson's face. Sigurdson staggers backwards, shaken.
Sigurdson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nakuraba swivels and escapes.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nakuraba.
Sigurdson tries for a takedown but Nakuraba sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sigurdson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

A jab-cross combination lands for Nakuraba and sends Sigurdson crashing to the mat! Nakuraba follows him down to the mat - Sigurdson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Nakuraba takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nakuraba has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sigurdson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
The fighters circle, before Nakuraba throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sigurdson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Nakuraba lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
