Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith moves into the clinch.
Ingram is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Smith to keep the fight standing.
Ingram jumps guard but Smith stands there with Ingram around his waist. Ingram gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ingram is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily.

Ingram is in a horrible position here. Smith smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ingram tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Smith has taken his back.
Ingram really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Smith biding his time, looking for the opening.
Ingram is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Smith forces Ingram back against the cage and clinches.
Ingram is trying to pull guard but Smith turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ingram jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Ingram gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Smith has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ingram throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Smith manages to pass to side control.

Ingram parries the strikes from Smith easily there. Smith is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ingram to escape.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Smith moves into full mount!

Smith with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Smith is loading up with his shots from the back and Ingram is in big trouble! Ingram taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
