Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Hudson (ranked 3170 p4p, 393 weight class) and Shen Kuei (ranked 4063 p4p, 461 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Morgan Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shen Kuei!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuei feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hudsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kuei lands a right hook to the body.
Hudson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kuei missing with a left hand there. Hudson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hudson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kuei digs a good body shot into Hudson's ribs.
Hudson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kuei.
Kuei lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kuei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hudson doesn't seem bothered though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kuei closes the distance and clinches.

Hudson wants to get back to striking at distance but Kuei won't allow it.
Hudson tries to break the clinch but Kuei is controlling the position.

I was talking to Hudson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kuei lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hudson backwards.

A nice left hand lands by Kuei.
Kuei pushes Hudson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kuei scores with a shoulder strike.

Hudson breaks from the clinch.
Hudson is looking to chop away at Kuei's legs.
Kuei scores with a sloppy right hand. Hudson should have avoided that one.
Kuei scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kuei lands the left hand.

Hudson is rocked!
Kuei's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hudson under the eye.
Oh Hudson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kuei connects with a leg kick. Hudson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kuei knocks out Hudson with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Kuei before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Kuei picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shen Kuei!
In his post fight interview, Shen Kuei started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
