Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flex Stretcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Bedard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stretcher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bedard keeping moving, preventing Stretcher from controlling successfully.
Stretcher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bedard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stretcher is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bedard is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bedard has escaped and now he's on top!
Stretcher is looking to sweep but instead, Bedard has passed into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stretcher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stretcher tries to get out of the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Stretcher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stretcher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Stretcher is breathing heavily.
Stretcher avoids the attempt from Bedard to control.
Stretcher prevents Bedard from getting the reversal.
Bedard bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Louis Bedard dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Stretcher gets a takedown into half guard.

Stretcher will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bedard moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Stretcher postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bedard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stretcher, into his guard.
Bedard loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bedard trying to control the position from guard on top but Stretcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bedard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stretcher kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bedard is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stretcher trying to hold on to Bedard's head to control him but Bedard postures up.

Stretcher makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Stretcher showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bedard.
Stretcher shoots in but no luck this time.
Stretcher shoots in but Bedard avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bedard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bedard throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bedard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stretcher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bedard's guard.
Bedard should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Stretcher wants to pass the guard but Bedard is keeping the position.

Bedard lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stretcher!

Bedard lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stretcher hang on?
Stretcher tries to hold on but Bedard pushes him away.

Stretcher is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Flex Stretcher will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Stretcher scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bedard manages to mount him!
Stretcher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bedard on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stretcher is looking to improve his position but Bedard isn't that keen on the idea.

Bedard can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stretcher is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Flex Stretcher.
I think Stretcher has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
