Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marc Case (ranked 5215 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Ambrose (ranked 5187 p4p, 521 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marc Case!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dean Ambrose!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ambrose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Case could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ambrose won't allow Case to get back to his feet.

Ambrose avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Case trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Ambrose postures up in Case's guard and throws a big left but Case blocks it.
Ambrose passes into half guard.
Case is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ambrose wants to control but Case is keeping him busy.
Case looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Case looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Ambrose shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Case is trying to defend but Ambrose finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ambrose controlling the action here.
Case has hold of Ambrose's hands but Ambrose slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Case trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Ambrose manages to pass to mount!
Ambrose thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Ambrose is working for a guillotine from mount but Case frees his head quite easily.
Case is trying to stand but he's just given Ambrose his back.
Ambrose controlling the position well here. Case rolled but Ambrose kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Ambrose has got one arm under Case's chin. This could be trouble... Case trying to control the other hand but Ambrose gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Case has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dean Ambrose!
