The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis stuns Fortytwo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fortytwo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Davis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Davis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fortytwo tried to counter with a leg kick but Davis avoided it.
Fortytwo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Davis.
Fortytwo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Fortytwo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Davis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fortytwo has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fortytwo. Fortytwo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fortytwo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Davis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Davis loads up on a big right hand but Fortytwo slips the punch.

That kick from Fortytwo tenderised Davis's leg. Davis is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oh Fortytwo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis throws out a loose jab but Fortytwo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fortytwo gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Davis gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Fortytwo is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

A relieved looking Jonathan Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
One Fortytwo spoke after the fight, saying 'Everyone picks on the big idiot, don't they?'.
