The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lascasas stuffs the takedown.

Ghotha closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ghotha lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lascasas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Lascasas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ghotha cracks Lascasas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That has opened up Ivo Lascasas's cut even more.
Lascasas is looking to improve his position but Ghotha isn't that keen on the idea.

Ivo Lascasas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ivo Lascasas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
