Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Strange (ranked 5430 p4p, 211 weight class) and Joost Van Dijk (ranked 3394 p4p, 142 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Strange, as that shot connected.
Nice shot by Strange.
It looks like Joost Van Dijk has been cut.
Strange connects with a body shot that sends Van Dijk's belly button to the back.
Van Dijk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Van Dijk lands in his opponent's guard.
Van Dijk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Strange can't keep his opponent in guard - Van Dijk advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Dijk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Strange's head.
Van Dijk thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strange keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Van Dijk seems to be working for a kimura but Strange defends the submission attempt.
Van Dijk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Strange defends it well.
Van Dijk frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Van Dijk moves to the back position.

Van Dijk has his arm under Strange's chin here. Game over son! Van Dijk squeezes tightly and Strange is forced to tap out!
