Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between joseph shelley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Ovanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ovanov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fairytale kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Don Ovanov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovanov misses with an attempted mid kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
shelley misses with a takedown attempt - Ovanov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ovanov lets loose with a powerful body kick. shelley will feel that in the morning.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Ovanov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ovanov cracks shelley with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ovanov lands a big shot there that rocks shelley but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ovanov is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, shelley has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Ovanov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ovanov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
shelley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
