Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jao Rua (ranked 742 p4p, 95 weight class) and Danny Duff (ranked 4896 p4p, 465 weight class). Rua's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tarantula . Duff is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kendrick Lamar - Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe. Danny Duff will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Duff!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff throws the left hand but Rua avoids the punch easily.

Rua shoots in and gets a takedown into Duff's guard.

Rua thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Duff wants to stand up but Rua is controlling him.
Rua stands and throws Duff's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've been hearing good reports from Rua's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Duff takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Rua has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rua scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Duff to see if he's OK.
Duff is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rua has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rua lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Duff is pushing Rua's head away, looking to escape. Rua manages to hold on to the position though.
Rua cracks Duff with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Rua advances to full mount.

Rua is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Duff to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Duff shrugs it off.
Rua moves to the back.
Duff wants to get back to his feet.
Duff is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Rua off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Rua is persistently looking for the submission but Duff is defending it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duff is trapped and Rua is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Rua is cranking Duff's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Duff! He's tightened the choke and Duff is tapping out!
