Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Morgan Priest!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Priest misses with a straight right.
Priest tries to bum rush Dog with a series of wild strikes but Dog uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Priest takes the fight into the clinch.

Dog manages to break the clinch.
Priest throws a series of punches but Dog moves out of range.

Priest darts in and clinches Dog up against the cage.
Priest wants to break the clinch but can't.
Priest lands a body shot in the clinch.

Dog jumps guard and drags Priest to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Priest stands up and waves to Dog to follow him.

Dog moves into the clinch.
Priest is leaning against Dog and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Priest working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Priest is pressed up against the cage. Dog has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Priest down to the mat. Priest avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Priest fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dog walks into a stiff left hand from Priest.


It looks like Top Dog has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Priest bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dog's head.
Dog fails to land the takedown.
Priest throws a right and a left that both miss.
Morgan Priest is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Priest lands a lovely overhand right.

Priest closes the distance and clinches.

Dog breaks the clinch.
Dog slips a straight right by Priest.
Priest lands with a straight right. Dog didn't see that one coming.
Priest misses with a wild combination.
Dog wants to clinch.
Dog looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morgan Priest has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Top Dog.

Priest has taken the fight to the clinch.
Priest prevents a body shot from Dog.
Priest wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dog tries to pull guard but Priest holds him up against the cage and eventually Dog drops back down to his feet.
Dog fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Priest wants to break free but Dog has control.
Priest lands a body punch.
Nice body punch from Priest.
Dog looks gassed!
A right hook to the body lands for Priest.
Priest tries to break the clinch but Dog is controlling the position.

Dog manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Priest lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dog is trying to control the position but Priest postures up.
Dog has his hands on Priest's head, controlling the position.
Priest has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dog is proving hard to escape from.
Priest landing with the ground and pound.
Priest tries to stand but Dog is controlling from the bottom.
Dog preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Priest wants to stand but Dog is controlling his posture from full guard.

Dog working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Priest doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Priest manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Priest accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dog is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dog had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Priest is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dog Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Priest's back instead.
Priest tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan Priest dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Top Dog's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Nice uppercut lands for Priest. That snapped Dog's head back.
Morgan Priest is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dog needs to keep his hands up - Priest had a free shot at his head there.
Priest scores with a shot to the body.
Priest tries to bum rush Dog with a series of wild strikes but Dog uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Priest does no damage.
Priest looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dog changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Priest tries to avoid it but Dog manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Priest to the ground. Priest escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Priest connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Dog tumbling to the canvas! Priest pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Dog was done - good stoppage!
