Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chrisi Kay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Faint. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
With the fighters up against the cage, Johnson throws an elbow but misses.
Johnson prevents Kay from breaking the clinch.
Johnson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Johnson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Knees to the body from Johnson.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson throws an elbow but it misses.

Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Kay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kay. That did some damage!
Johnson wants to clinch

and Kay counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that.
Johnson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kay trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Johnson looking for a guillotine here but Kay defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Johnson is looking for a triangle but Kay pushes his legs off easily.
Kay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kay scoring with some ground and pound.
Johnson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kay passes Johnson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kay moves nicely into side control.
Kay trying to control the position but Johnson is working away.

Kay looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kay cracks Johnson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Kay wants to take a breather but Johnson manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kay.
Kay tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.

Kay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kay distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Kay from controlling successfully.
Kay slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kay working away.
Johnson is trying to buck Kay off.
Johnson tries to bench press Kay off him but Kay keeps the position.

Kay tries for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.
Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Johnson is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kay is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Johnson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Kay controlling the action here.
Kay is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kay thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chrisi Kay dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kay keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kay scores a takedown into full mount!
Johnson wants to control but Kay is having none of it.
Kay lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Johnson hang on?
Kay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Johnson is desperately trying to improve his position but Kay has a good base and remains in mount.
Kay can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.
Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kay with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kay is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Johnson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kay is breathing heavily.
Kay prevents Johnson from getting the reversal.

Kay has hold of Johnson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Johnson is trying desperately to improve position.
Johnson wants to control but Kay is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kay looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kay prevents Johnson from getting the reversal.
Johnson tries to improve his position but instead Kay has taken his back!
Johnson covering up well and avoiding damage.
Johnson is in bad spot here.
Kay has Johnson flattened out and is raining down punches.
Well, with Kay on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Johnson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Kay is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Johnson taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Kay.
