The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandrill closes the distance and clinches up with Navajo, looking for a takedown. Mandrill pushes Navajo against the cage but Navajo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mandrill dives in and scores a takedown into Navajo's guard.
Navajo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mandrill controls the pace.
Mandrill stands up over Navajo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mandrill lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Navajo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mandrill is aware though and is defending well.
