Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Zen (ranked 22885 p4p, 610 weight class) and Jager Gutsovis (ranked 22441 p4p, 603 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Gutsovis.

Gutsovis clinches up with Zen and pushes him back against the ropes.

Gutsovis breaks the clinch.
Zen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Zen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gutsovis.
Zen looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Zen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gutsovis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Zen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Zen misses with a head kick.
As Zen backs off Gutsovis throws a huge counter combo but Zen manages to avoid it all.
Gutsovis scores with a push kick.
Gutsovis lands a front kick.
Gutsovis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zen's calf.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gutsovis goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Gutsovis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Zen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Gutsovis takes an elbow to the temple.
Zen tries to land knees in the clinch but Gutsovis avoids the damage to the body.
Gutsovis has Zen pushed against the ropes.

Gutsovis ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gutsovis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gutsovis is adopting a defensive guard.

Zen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gutsovis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gutsovis has escaped and now he's on top!

Gutsovis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Zen, up you get!
Zen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gutsovis throws a sloppy head kick and Zen moves out of range easily.
Zen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Zen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gutsovis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Zen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gutsovis works over Zen with some ground and pound from guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gutsovis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Gutsovis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Gutsovis drops Zen with a beautiful combination! Zen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gutsovis is looking for the KO!

Zen is rocked!
Gutsovis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zen. That did some damage!
Oh Zen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Gutsovis counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Zen! He's just covering up as Gutsovis starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
