Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reggie Hutchinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergey Voroshilov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hutchinson is defended easily by Voroshilov.
Hutchinson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Voroshilov lands a head kick. Hutchinson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Voroshilov misses with a leg kick

and Hutchinson counters with a shoot takedown. Voroshilov fights it but they end up in guard.
Hutchinson trying to control the position from guard on top but Voroshilov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hutchinson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hutchinson throws a big right hand that misses.

Hutchinson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hutchinson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hutchinson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Hutchinson trying to control the position from guard on top but Voroshilov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hutchinson works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Voroshilov is defending against the submission attempts here by Hutchinson.
Hutchinson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hutchinson not doing much here.
Hutchinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hutchinson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Voroshilov could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hutchinson has cracked it and Voroshilov is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hutchinson!
