Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ze Serra!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Travis is defended easily by Serra.
A looping hook to the body misses from Serra. Travis does a little dance to reset his feet.

Travis moves into the clinch.
Travis stops a takedown attempt from Serra.
Travis effectively controlling the action here.
Serra wants a takedown.
Travis lands a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Travis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Travis shoots for a takedown but Serra saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

As Serra looks to move away, Travis throws a big counter combo but Serra just gets out of the way.

Travis tries to pull guard but Serra forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Serra pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Travis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Serra was well out of range. Poor timing from Travis.
Serra moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Travis tries for a takedown but Serra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Serra doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Travis lands a head kick!

Serra gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Travis tries to pull guard but Serra holds him up against the cage and eventually Travis drops back down to his feet.
Travis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Serra can't get the takedown.

Serra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Travis throws a sloppy head kick and Serra moves out of range easily.
Travis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Travis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Serra connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ze Serra dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Travis tries to sprawl but Serra drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Serra is looking to advance position but Travis won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Travis missing with punches from the bottom.
Travis is trying to control but can't.
Serra content to control rather than advance.
Serra is continuing to stall.

Travis shoots for a takedown but Serra saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Travis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Serra sprawls well initially but Travis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Serra manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Ze Serra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Travis stands and steps away. Serra gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Travis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Serra's waist but Serra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Travis off to one side.

Sloppy strikes from Serra. Those never looked like landing.
Travis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Serra tries to avoid it but Travis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Serra to the ground. Serra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Travis tries to close the distance and clinch but Serra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Serra.

Travis finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Ze Serra is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Serra bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Travis's head backwards.

Ze Serra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Serra winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
