Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tybert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snuka comes to the cage accompanied by Blues. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Snuka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Snuka has his foot on Tybert's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tybert works his way back into a safe position though.

Tybert stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snuka swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Snuka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tybert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tybert manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Snuka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tybert is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Snuka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tybert's back instead.

Snuka has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tybert has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
