Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Anderson (ranked 6833 p4p, 511 weight class) and Rob Gross (ranked 4790 p4p, 454 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gross will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gross misses with a few strikes there.
Gross throws a left and a right that both miss
and Anderson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Anderson connects with a leg kick. Gross looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Anderson connects with a single shot there.
Gross throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Anderson.
Gross takes a kick to the side of the head.

Gross is rocked!
Anderson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Gross is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Gross misses with a combination
and Anderson counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Gross badly! Anderson follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Gross out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Anderson finished him against the cage.
