Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Vasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Solano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matheus Vasco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tito Solano!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solano keeps the fight on the outside.
Vasco doesn't manage to clinch there - Solano circles away.

Vasco jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Solano walks away with a smile on his face. Vasco gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vasco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Solano as he jumps to the side.
Vasco shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Solano pinned against the cage. Solano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Vasco is desperately trying to improve his position but Solano has a good base and remains in mount.

Solano takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tito Solano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Solano has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
