Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ranulf Drengot (ranked 2840 p4p, 344 weight class) and Daday Dadaeff (ranked 4121 p4p, 451 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ranulf Drengot has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ranulf Drengot seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Dadaeff finds it's way through Drengot's defenses.

Dadaeff clinches with his opponent.
Dadaeff content to slow the pace in the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Drengot has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Drengot tries for a takedown but Dadaeff manages to get underhooks.

Dadaeff parries the strikes from Drengot easily there. Drengot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dadaeff to escape.

Dadaeff wants to control but Drengot postures up.

Drengot is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dadaeff has escaped the position, nice work there.

Drengot is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dadaeff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dadaeff manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drengot thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dadaeff blocking the ground and pound attempt from Drengot.
Dadaeff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dadaeff is controlling Drengot's trapped leg to prevent Drengot from advancing to side control.

Drengot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dadaeff is just riding it out for now. Drengot eventually gives up the hold.

Drengot fails with a takedown attempt.
Dadaeff closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Drengot out cold! Drengot corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

In defeat, Ranulf Drengot stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm so disappointed, but I will be back stronger!'.
