And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kornjaca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brooks.
Brooks avoids the head kick by Kornjaca.
As Kornjaca looks to move away, Brooks throws a big counter combo but Kornjaca just gets out of the way.
Brooks misses with a body shot.
Brooks lands a right hook to the body.

Kornjaca fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brooks, pushing him back against the cage.
Brooks is trying to break the clinch but Kornjaca is controlling him.

Kornjaca escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Kornjaca counters with a crisp one two that drops Brooks! Kornjaca thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brooks to his feet! Brooks is in big trouble!

Brooks is rocked!
Kornjaca misses with a double jab.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks dives in and grabs Kornjaca's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kornjaca pushes down on Brooks's head and hops out.
Brooks seems to have got his legs back now.
Kornjaca tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brooks shoots for a takedown but Kornjaca saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Brooks gets a takedown into half guard.

Kornjaca has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Brooks is on him like a limpet, forcing Kornjaca back against the cage.

Kornjaca's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brooks dodges the punch combination from Kornjaca.
Brooks fails with the takedown
and Kornjaca counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kornjaca stuffs the takedown.

Kornjaca feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brooks's calf.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brooks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kornjaca's waist but Kornjaca gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brooks off to one side.
Brooks swings for the body but Kornjaca moves out of range.

Kornjaca forces Brooks back against the cage and clinches.
Kornjaca lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Rob Brooks has been cut.

Kornjaca breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kornjaca keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kornjaca wants to counter with a clinch but Brooks pushes him away.
Kornjaca lands a big head kick that sends Brooks to the canvas! Kornjaca follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
