Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buford Spears (ranked 6434 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Frank (ranked 24958 p4p, 0 weight class). Raul Frank is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raul Frank!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank tries for a takedown but Spears circles away easily

and Spears moves into the clinch.
Frank looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Frank drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Spears gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Spears lands a damaging elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Buford Spears has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Frank.

Our spies down at at Cozad Amsterdam inform us that Frank has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Spears has instead reached around Frank's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Spears arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
