The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherman gets cracked there but stands up to it.

As San looks to move away, Sherman throws a big counter combo but San just gets out of the way.

and Sherman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Sherman is looking to counter the offense by San and move into the clinch.
Sherman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

San misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Sherman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

San tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sherman is able to avoid easily.
Sherman swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sherman throws a right hand that San ducks under and follows up with a left that San also avoids with ease.
Despite the aggression on San's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Tar San seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sherman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. San sees it coming and avoids it easily.
San unleashes a big counter combination but Sherman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

and Sherman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sherman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Sherman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. San sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sherman moves into the clinch.

Sherman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
San lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sherman circles away quickly and effectively.
Sherman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from San.
Sherman misses with a two punch combination.
Sherman is looking to wear down San with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
San fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sherman manages to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sherman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
As Sherman backs off San throws a huge counter combo but Sherman manages to avoid it all.

Sherman manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Sherman will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


San throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Sherman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Sherman pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Sherman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sherman throws a series of punches but San avoids them all with ease.
San throws a solid leg kick but Sherman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at San.
Tar San seems to be getting the better of the standup.
San misses with an uppercut. Sherman saw that one coming.
Sherman appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
San staying out of range there.
San keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sherman throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sherman checks a leg kick nicely.
San scores with a head kick. Sherman tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
San misses with a hook to the body
and Sherman counters with a two punch combo.

San circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Sherman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! San follows Sherman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
