Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rangi Nui (ranked 23435 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Destro (ranked 4609 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nui fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Destro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nui jabs at Destro's body.
Nui scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Destro fails in his attempt to clinch.
Destro avoids the head kick by Nui.
Nui lands a jab.
Destro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nui manages to avoid it.
Destro shoots in looking for a takedown. Nui tries to sprawl out of it but Destro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nui manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Nui. No joy for Destro on that attempt.
Destro takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Destro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nui is trying to defend but Destro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
