The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo throws a leg kick
letting McCraw counter with a right hand.
McCraw lands an overhand right.

It looks like Davi Araujo has been cut.
The fighters circling - Araujo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Araujo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
It looked like McCraw wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McCraw fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
McCraw swings for the body but Araujo moves out of range.
McCraw keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Araujo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've been informed that Araujo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Araujo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCraw manages to avoid it.
McCraw has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

McCraw clinches up against the cage.
McCraw lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Araujo backwards.
Araujo misses with a short punch on the inside.
McCraw scores with a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCraw lands a shot to the body.

McCraw pushes Araujo back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

McCraw throws a big uppercut that drops Araujo! More strikes from McCraw and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Araujo lies dazed against the cage as McCraw celebrates with his cornermen!
