The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Templeton misses with a two punch combination.
Templeton throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Templeton stuffs the takedown.
Templeton gets tackled into the cage by Mikolajczyk. Mikolajczyk maintains the clinch.
Templeton jumps guard but Mikolajczyk stands there with Templeton around his waist. Templeton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Templeton.
Come on Mikolajczyk - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Mikolajczyk is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Templeton slaps away a takedown attempt from Mikolajczyk, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Templeton feints and then cracks Mikolajczyk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mikolajczyk down.
Templeton shoots in for a takedown but Mikolajczyk shows good takedown defense.
Mikolajczyk was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
No luck for Templeton with that takedown attempt.

Mikolajczyk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Templeton just stands there and leans against the cage.

Templeton goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mikolajczyk prevents it.
Mikolajczyk wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Templeton has him pressed against the cage.

Mikolajczyk drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mikolajczyk tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Mikolajczyk is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Templeton is defending well for now.
Templeton prevents Mikolajczyk from breaking the clinch.
Mikolajczyk is pushing Templeton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mikolajczyk creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mikolajczyk drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Templeton gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Templeton breaks the clinch.
Templeton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mikolajczyk's waist but Mikolajczyk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Templeton off to one side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mikolajczyk is defended easily by Templeton.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mikolajczyk misses with a wild combination.
Templeton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mikolajczyk as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Mikolajczyk dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Templeton gets a double leg takedown into Mikolajczyk's guard.
Mikolajczyk is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Templeton can do to turn this around?
Mikolajczyk is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Templeton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mikolajczyk is trying to control the position here. Templeton has hold of a guillotine from the top though... oh, that looks naaaaasty, will Mikolajczyk tap? Yes he will! The fight is all over! Templeton jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd.
