Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mukinio Tambua (ranked 944 p4p, 126 weight class) and Eros Ramasotti (ranked 1985 p4p, 216 weight class). Ramasotti comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pray for me ft the weekend kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Tambua goes for a double leg but Ramasotti avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ramasotti continues to drive forward.

Tambua closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Tambua's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Tambua will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tambua has hold of Ramasotti's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ramasotti seems comfortable defending it but Tambua has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ramasotti is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ramasotti is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tambua couldn't care less - he's delighted!
