The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speights ducks right into an uppercut from Kucoc.
Speights walks into a stiff left hand from Kucoc.
Kucoc paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kucoc misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kucoc throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Speights with the counter takedown but Kucoc avoids it easily.
Kucoc lands with a nice combination. Speights backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jay Speights has been cut.
Kucoc misses with a double jab
and Speights counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kucoc!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kucoc takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kucoc managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Speights.

Speights passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kucoc!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Speights lands a nice shot to the head.
Speights controlling the pace for now.
Speights has isolated one of Kucoc's arms. Kucoc looking to fight him off but Speights twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
