Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Johnson (ranked 1266 p4p, 174 weight class) and TJ Guillard (ranked 2954 p4p, 349 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Guillard's choice of entrance music: Duran Duran-White Lines. Jeff Johnson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to TJ Guillard's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Guillard.
It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Guillard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Guillard.
Guillard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Johnson throws a right and a left that Guillard avoids nicely.
Johnson sets himself, and Guillard steps forward looking for the clinch! Johnson avoids it this time.
Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Guillard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Guillard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guillard gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Johnson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Guillard keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the ropes.

You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

TJ Guillard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Guillard circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Johnson to the canvas! Johnson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Guillard keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
