Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kris Browne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axl Rose (ranked 5018 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Browne tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rose defends well and Browne ends up having to push Rose into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Browne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rose as he avoids it easily.
And Rose tries to counter it with a takedown but Browne pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Browne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Browne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Browne.
Rose uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Browne.
Rose tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Browne throws a low kick but Rose avoids it.
Rose changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Browne fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rose sprawls well initially but Browne persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Browne is just content to waste time from the top position. Rose takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Browne is posturing up here but Rose has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Browne tries to roll out but it's too tight and Browne has to tap! Slick submission there by Rose!
