The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn Jr lands with a shot to the body.
Benn Jr throws a right and a left that Brandstatter avoids nicely.
Brandstatter throws an off balance right hand
and Benn Jr counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brandstatter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Benn Jr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brandstatter. Brandstatter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Benn Jr lands an overhand right.
Brandstatter dodges the punch combination from Benn Jr.
Donk. Benn Jr catches Brandstatter right on the button with a cross.
Benn Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brandstatters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brandstatter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brandstatter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Brandstatter tries to move into range but Benn Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Nigel Benn Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benn Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Benn Jr connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Benn Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brandstatter tries a head kick but it misses.
Brandstatter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Brandstatter throws a sloppy head kick and Benn Jr moves out of range easily.
Benn Jr throws a big counter combination but Brandstatter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Brandstatter fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Benn Jr checks it well.
Benn Jr scores with a body shot.
Benn Jr blocks a head kick by Brandstatter.
Benn Jr lands an overhand right.
Benn Jr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A big right from Brandstatter misses.
Benn Jr walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brandstatter.

Brandstatter throws a body kick that misses.
Brandstatter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brandstatter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Benn Jr. Benn Jr obviously looking to wear him down.

Benn Jr lands with a hook. Brandstatter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Benn Jr counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brandstatter walks into a jab.
Benn Jr dips to his left and cracks Brandstatter with an uppercut!
Benn Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brandstatter raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Brandstatter throws a body kick that misses
and Brandstatter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Brandstatter is rocked!
Benn Jr throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Brandstatter crashing down! Brandstatter tries to stagger back to his feet but Benn Jr just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Brandstatter asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
