Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toprak throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Sands counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Sands drives through and clinches with Toprak against the cage.

Sands gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Sands is pushing down on Toprak's leg trying to pass to half guard. Toprak is fighting to maintain full guard but Sands has managed to sneak the leg through.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sands connects with a nice short shot to Toprak's temple.

Sands thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Toprak's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
