Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bong McGary!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sammy Ji!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGary closes the distance and pushes Ji back into the cage.
McGary is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ji has McGary pushed against the cage.
McGary is trying to pull guard but Ji has him pressed against the cage.
McGary drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McGary jumps into guard, dragging Ji to the mat.
McGary manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ji manages to get himself to full guard.

Ji scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ji works McGary's body with a nice hook.
Ji lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Bong McGary has been cut.
Ji swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McGary.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ji gets tackled into the cage by McGary. McGary maintains the clinch.
Ji scores with a shot to the side of McGary's head.
McGary wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bong McGary. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ji lands a nice uppercut.

McGary is rocked!
Ji throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McGarys head.
Oh McGary is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McGary jumps guard and drags Ji to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ji gets to his feet - McGary follows without any prompting.
Ji sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through McGary's defenses. It connects perfectly with McGary's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
