Malen has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nichols is on him like a limpet, forcing Malen back against the cage.

Nichols is wriggling around but Malen manages to pass to half guard.

Nichols might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nichols shoots in and bounces Malen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
