Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Bryant (ranked 1889 p4p, 251 weight class) and Jon Rudskogen (ranked 1705 p4p, 231 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Rudskogen!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant throws a hook but Rudskogen avoids it easily.
Rudskogen connects with a body shot that sends Bryant's belly button to the back.
Bryant takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bryant throws a hook to the side of Rudskogen's head but Rudskogen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rudskogen lands a head shot.
A slow jab from Rudskogen misses its intended target.
Rudskogen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bryant doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rudskogen slips under a jab from Bryant.
Rudskogen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bryant.
Rudskogen takes a swing at Bryant's ribcage but misses.
Rudskogen lands with a hook. Bryant tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bryant lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rudskogen.

Bryant was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Bryant has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rudskogen.
Bryant smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rudskogen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bryant's hands.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rudskogen, right into the meat.
Rudskogen pushes Bryant away with a front kick.
Rudskogen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fighters circling - Bryant throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bryant misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rudskogen counters with a body kick.

Rudskogen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bryant sprawling to the canvas! Bryant rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rudskogen finish him?!

Bryant is rocked!
Bryant takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oh Bryant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That kick from Rudskogen tenderised Bryant's leg. Bryant is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rudskogen thows a body kick. Bryant tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Rudskogen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rudskogen finds Bryant's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Bryant flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Rudskogen lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Bryant will be OK.

A relieved looking Jon Rudskogen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
